womENcourage is a scientific event, and also an event aimed at networking and exploring career opportunities for women in computer science and related disciplines.


womENcourage is a scientific event, and also an event aimed at networking and exploring career opportunities for women in computer science and related disciplines. This conference brings together students, Masters, and PhD students, as well as researchers and professionals in the field, to present and share their achievements and experience in computer science. The program includes technical presentations and also discussions related to career issues in academic and industrial research.

The womENcourage <http://womencourage.acm.org/> 2015 will be held at Uppsala University in Sweden on 24-26 September 2015.

Informatics Europe strives for higher levels of participation of women in computer science and would encourage your department to print and display posters advertising the event. We would also encourage you to contribute to the travel and registration expenses of women in your department who would like to attend. Informatics Europe will also be sponsoring the event and the support will be used to help female students in Europe to attend the event.

womENcourage 2015 is supported by INRIA and Google (Diamond), Bloomberg and Cisco (Platinum) and Informatics Europe and Microsoft Research (Silver). Support is used to help students studying in Europe to attend the event.
